Hi All...I'm so excited about just completing the Mentor Advancement program this weekend at beautiful Eden with an amazing cohort of other ZBers and faculty! In addition to now being a certified mentor, I am a PT in private practice in NYC and have been a certified ZB practitioner for the past 10 years. I'd love to hear what you all think of the mentorship program.

Hello Everyone,

I am Jennifer Densmore, honored and excited to be a new member of the CZBers. I have a background in OT and Reiki. I have been practicing ZB for a little over 1.5yrs. ZB has completing enhanced my life in ways I had no idea and I am proud to say is doing the same for all my clients who have trusted in the process. I am happy to see this forum being developed as I have many questions that arise and would love a place to document and connect with others in this field that could offer input.

I practice in Lebanon, NH and one of my goals is to educate the upper valley on the power of ZB!

Hello, Donkeys! My name is Jen Weiher, and I'm so happy to see a forum here for us to connect with our fellow ZB'ers. I was certified ~2009 as a bodyworker and then promptly returned to school, and I have been a Clinical Social Worker for the past 10 years. I integrated ZB into my psychotherapy practice about 3 years ago, and I'm thrilled to see more therapists using skilled touch in psychotherapy, where it used to be an absolute no-no (for good reason!). Many of the clients I work with have complex trauma, and it is so rewarding to support them in discovering (or rediscovering) safe embodiment.

I have a private practice in Monterey, CA primarily treating clients with trauma using EMDR, IFS-informed EMDR, AEDP, somatic and other interventions. I also practice ketamine-assisted therapy and just started a 10-month journey for certification in Psychedelic Therapy.

I'm just down the road from Watsonville, where Fritz had his practice and birthed ZB!

Hi, I'm Deanna Waggy. I'm a holistic Occupational Therapist with a private practice in South Bend, Indiana. My husband Loren (also an OT and certified ZBer) and I enjoy living on our 3.5 acre wooded property that we share with the local wildlife. We have been supporting a growing ZB community in South Bend, IN since 2011.

I am currently the only active faculty member teaching classes in both Zero Balancing and Insight Acupressure (formerly Soul Lightening International). I teach classes 2 - 3 times a month most of the year.  I have a passion for being a bridge between the communities that Fritz and Aminah created. The two techniques integrate well with each other in a beautiful Yin Yang relationship. I especially love learning and teaching the 5 Element Meridians classes for Clinical Acupressure certification, and hope to eventually offer the full Zero Balancing certification track in the Midwest. I am especially interested in inspiring new OTs to learn ZB.

I am interested in supporting practitioners as they learn to embody the principles and become certified in either/both of these powerful therapies. I provide technical and administrative support for Insight Acupressure as a volunteer. I also support a number of ZB and Insight Acupressure practitioners as they create a holistic practice, build an online presence, explore ways to market their practice and tap into their circles of influence. I love creating graphics and fliers to promote our work. You can find resources to share with others at https://deanna-waggy.mykajabi.com/zero-balancing-resources

I am curious how we can empower our ZB practitioners to collaborate with faculty to build strong ZB communities by offering ZB sessions to potential new students and hosting ZB I & II classes in new communities.

Hi Deanna,
Great to read your post and see all that you are up to serving and nurturing the growth of ZB and Process Acupressure in the midwest. I knew about the discussion forum but up until today, I hadn't explored the website in order to use it. I can picture you on your 3.5 acre property, and imagine the wildlife that live there along with you. How fortunate! Have a great day and thanks again for such a detailed introduction.

Hi David Lauterstein here - based in Austin, Tx.

I met Fritz in 1986, just about 40 years ago!  Certified as faculty in 1996 with an incredible group of people from U.S. UK and Switzerland!

I have written five books on bodymind work, including Fritz' bio, "Life in the Bones," "The Deep Massage Book: How to Combine Structure and Energy in Bodywork, and my latest, co-written with Dr. Jeff Rockwell, "The Memory Palace of Bones: Exploring Embodiment through the Skeletal System."

Lately I've been preoccupied with the periosteum and its wealth of sensory nerves.  Also I am in an MFA Program concentrating on poetry through Pacific University.  I am looking forward to teaching and exploring through words, ZB and touch - the poetry of what we do.  My earlier background was in music so I bring that "to the table" as well.

Love,

David
