A note from Lisa about housing: There are plenty of AirBNB options in the surrounding neighborhoods. I suggest that you look in the surrounding towns of Ardmore, Bryn Mawr, Wynnewood and Narberth where you will find many options that are within easy driving distance. There are hotel options in neighboring Conshohocken and on Philadelphia's City Line Avenue as well.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Zero Balancing I is the first half of the 50-hour Core Zero Balancing program and the first course of the Zero Balancing curriculum. ZB I introduces you to the technique, theory, touch skills and history of the art and science of Zero Balancing. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to perform a full-body Zero Balancing session and experience what it feels like to receive Zero Balancing fulcrums and sessions. Class size is small to provide plenty of hands-on attention.

The instructor will deliver clear presentations and demonstrations of Zero Balancing evaluations and techniques, along with a detailed study guide to inform your ongoing practice.

You will learn:
  • Theory and principles of Zero Balancing body/mind therapy
  • To distinguish body energy and body structure through touch
  • The skill of using energy as a working tool
  • The structural and energetic anatomy of the skeleton
  • The theory and application of Zero Balancing techniques called fulcrums
  • How to give a 30-minute ZB session that addresses the whole body
From Lisa:
Trained as a Massage Therapist, I was drawn to Zero Balancing because I was seeking an approach in my touch therapy practice that would bring me greater ease in my own body and help me connect with my clients at a deeper level; at bone level. With ZB's concept of how tension is held in the bone and the unique understanding of how to work with  bone-held energy, ZB was the answer I was looking for. As a massage therapist, I was able to immediately introduce many ZB techniques  into my practice and my clients loved it! Whether you are an OT, massage therapist, acupuncturist or lay person wanting to explore the realm of bodywork, I want to share my love of ZB with you.

What a student had to say about ZB I with Lisa Bardarson:
"What a stellar weekend of education and self-discovery I had!  As usual with the universe, the timing was perfect as I invest energy back into myself with the intention of fulfilling a larger purpose and serving others in a new way. Learning Zero Balancing felt like coming home. It feels familiar, almost an innate response to unraveling the truth in our bones so we can move forward with more ease and grace in the world. How lovely! Helping the world move forward with more ease, grace and love?! Yes please! Thank you for teaching me how to place a fulcrum on the crack in anything, specifically foundation joints, so the light can begin to shine through more brilliantly.+  - Jenny Marion, Massage Therapist
