Welcome from Deanna:
We are excited to bring Zero Balancing classes back to the Madison, WI area, starting with ZB I this fall. Whether you are new to ZB or wish to refresh your skills, this will be a great class to join. We will be using the recently updated ZB manual and learning the basic ZB protocol at the “Middle C” standard of Zero Balancing.

One of the best ways to learn ZB is to encourage a friend to take the class with you, so you have the ability to swap regularly for skills progression and regular self-care. Consider this class a retreat, where you learn by receiving hands-on bodywork that is relaxing and feels good to your body and mind. Whether you are new to bodywork or adding new skills to your clinical toolbox, the guiding principles of ZB can be transformative for yourself and your clients. Please contact me at  ot4peace@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Please contact Lisa Tennant for local information, including lodging near the class. A block of rooms is reserved at the hotel under “Zero Balancing” through August 30th for a reduced rate.

Zero Balancing I is the first half of the 50-hour Core Zero Balancing program and the first course of the Zero Balancing curriculum. ZB I introduces you to the technique, theory, touch skills and history of the art and science of Zero Balancing. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to perform a full-body Zero Balancing session and experience what it feels like to receive Zero Balancing fulcrums and sessions. Class size is small to provide plenty of hands-on attention.

The instructor will deliver clear presentations and demonstrations of Zero Balancing evaluations and techniques, along with a detailed study guide to inform your ongoing practice.

You will learn:

  • Theory and principles of Zero Balancing body/mind therapy
  • To distinguish body energy and body structure through touch
  • The skill of using energy as a working tool
  • The structural and energetic anatomy of the skeleton
  • The theory and application of Zero Balancing techniques called fulcrums
  • How to give a 30-minute ZB session that addresses the whole body
