COURSE DESCRIPTION
Developed by Judith Sullivan and taught by ZBX faculty members, Zero Balancing Expanded: Addressing the Skull was created to help ZB practitioners refine their touch using ZB principles to evaluate and balance the cranial bones, membranes, facial bones and structures of the anterior and posterior neck. We'll explore the fascinating anatomy of the skull, face, mouth, throat, and learn why it's so important to work here. Presentations will include demonstrations, case studies and clinical experiences.
Please bring your copy of Zero Balancing Expanded: The Attitude of Awaiting a Fish. This is the text book for this class.
You will learn:
• To apply and refine ZB touch principles to working with the skull
• An overview of skull anatomy: bones, membranes and relationships
• To find and evaluate sutures - the foundation joints of the skull
• The value of sliding fulcrums on bone
• How to engage "neighbor" bones to help those in trouble
• To nestle with the skull and brain
• To release held tension in the mouth, teeth, and jaw
• Fulcrums for the ears and eyes to enhance the senses
• To balance the sacrum and coccyx, affecting the head and brain
• How facial trauma impacts the whole cranium
• To address key brain structures, including the corpus callosum, motor cortex and sensory cortex
• How to weave skull work into your ZB sessions
• How to achieve lasting effects with less effort
What Participants Say:
"I have been using many of the fulcrums every day and they have enhanced my sessions immensely. I’m finding I am working less and achieving more. I have 2 clients with Parkinson’s and the work I have been doing with them has really helped with their symptoms..." Paula Macali
“This class was such a heart opening to the sacredness of ZB. Amanda and Lisa are such wonderful, profound, warm, humorous teachers that it made it a delight.” Pamela Altomare
“ZBX: Addressing the Skull is a treasure of a class. The skull fulcrums were personally healing and professionally expansive.” Aimee Levine Dickman
“I’ve wanted to take this class for years and I’m so glad I did. I will use what I learned every time I set my hands on clients.” Sydney Pierce
“Such a well-organized plan for the four days. It was a lot of material, but easy to practice and absorb.” Doug McCorkle
