Welcome from Deanna & Tara:
We are excited to bring Zero Balancing classes back to the Madison, WI area. ZB II is a great continuation of ZB I, with new fulcrums and a refinement of the basic protocol. If it's been awhile since you took a ZB class, consider taking ZB II as a refresher. Every time we retake a class with beginners mind, we deepen our embodiment of the ZB principles in our lives. We will be using the recently updated ZB manual and re-learning the basic ZB protocol at the “Middle C” standard of Zero Balancing.

One of the best ways to learn ZB is to encourage a friend to take the class with you, so you have the ability to swap regularly for skills progression and regular self-care. Reach out to a ZB friend and make plans to take the class together. Consider this class a retreat, where you learn by receiving hands-on bodywork that is relaxing and feels good to your body and mind. Whether you are farily new to ZB or refining your skills in your clinical toolbox, the guiding principles of ZB can be transformative for yourself and your clients. Please contact Deanna at ot4peace@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Please contact Lisa Tennant for local information, including lodging near the class.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Zero Balancing II is the second half of the Core Zero Balancing program. In ZB II, you will refine your skills performing the fulcrums from ZB I while learning new fulcrums that will complete the Zero Balancing Core Protocol. You will expand your understanding of how and why Zero Balancing is so effective. Note: ZB II is highly recommended for all ZB practitioners who have not taken a ZB course in a while as it includes the most up-to-date methods for performing Zero Balancing.

You will learn:

  • A review of the basic ZB protocol with an emphasis on quality of touch, focus and positioning of the practitioner
  • To deepen your understanding of ZB theory, principles and techniques
  • Additional techniques and an expanded protocol to address more of the body
  • New skills and coordination in handling energy and structure
  • How to frame or set goals for a ZB session
  • To advance your ability to work with expanded states of consciousness
  • To give and receive constructive peer feedback
  • To acquire experience in preparation for advanced study
