The Mentor Advancement Program 2024
The ZB Mentor Advancement Program (MAP) is a 6-month intensive in-person and online program of enrichment and learning for Certified Zero Balancers who want to deepen their Zero Balancing skills, embody ZB principles, ignite their ZB practice, support ZB students and teachers, and be of service to our community and the wider world. Program teachers Michele Doucette, Lisa Berger and Amanda King co-created this program with a group of dedicated CZBers who become its first graduates in April 2021. There are now 15 certified Mentors!

MAP Program Highlights
In both in-person and online sessions, MAP provides you with focused exploration on essential ZB and mentoring skills:
- Embodying ZB principles
- Verbal and touch feedback
- Advanced framing
- One-on-one coaching and relationship building
- Core ZB classroom assisting
- Counseling students through classes and certification, including exams
- Presenting ZB to practitioners and the public
- Cultivating a rewarding practice
- Conscious personal growth
- Technology training for online mentoring
- ZB study group leadership.
Three 2.5-day classroom modules (April 19-21, July 19-21, October 18-20) will be supplemented by monthly online learning sessions and homework assignments. The program also includes structured faculty and peer mentoring.
Mentor Practice and Certification
MAP graduates receive the credential of Certified Mentor and are searchable as Certified Mentors
. Certified Mentors are represented by the Mentor Committee, volunteers who focus on supporting mentors. Graduates will have opportunities to integrate into the fabric of the ZBHA with peer mentoring support, Mentor Committee leadership, faculty advisors, and the ability to charge for their mentoring services.

Tuition Due Dates: $1500 total. $500 is due 1 month before each in-person module on March 19, June 19, September 19.
A $200 non-refundable deposit to hold place in program due March 1, 2024.
