Essential Energetics of Zero Balancing: A Journey to Embodiment
May, July and October 2026
Taught by Lisa Berger, Michele Doucette and Amanda King
Description:
Essential Energetics of Zero Balancing (EEZB) is a new program designed to facilitate a deeper engagement with the theories, principles and touch skills introduced in the Alchemy of Touch, Freely Movable Joints, and Geometry of Healing courses. Developed by Dr. Fritz Smith and taught by other ZBHA faculty members, these classes challenge us to expand our skills and perspectives when working with structure and energy. As certification electives they comprise the first level of advanced training in the Zero Balancing curriculum.
The EEZB program offers a unique opportunity for up to 12 Zero Balancers to share a journey of creative learning and embodiment of these principles and practices so essential to ZB mastery. A mix of in-person classes, between-class assignments and online meetings will allow for powerful shared frames, rituals, review, reflection, touch feedback, and cohort support to nourish your process of embodiment.
Join us on this path toward greater fluency in your work and more body-felt experiences regarding the full potential of ZB. By diving deeper together, we hope to discover new understandings of human potential, explore our own healing and well being, and gain new levels of insight, connection, and confidence.
Prerequisites:

What students say about training with Lisa, Michele and Amanda:
“I feel much more connected, or reconnected, to a cohort of ZB practitioners. Doing the MAP training over 3 long weekends really created a sense of community that I’ve never really had with ZB.” - Rachael Timberlake
“It was truly a pleasure to see how Michele, Lisa and Amanda shared the responsibilities of leading the group. Every interaction was clear, honest, and based on the knowledge we were all taking part as equals, learning from each other.” - Eric Eichelberger
“I am so impressed with your cohesiveness as a teaching team…you function almost like a jazz trio. You each have your solo parts but also play well together and in supportive roles to each other. You promote collective effervescence.” - Lindi Oberon
