The Joy of Zero Balancing

with Alan Hext

How does the practice of Zero Balancing benefit the cultivation of the Zero Balancer whilst also serving the needs of the client?  Join Alan Hext in this exploration of the joy of Zero Balancing.

Alan Hext was one of three English ZBers in the first teacher training (TT1) who, with Dr. Smith’s blessing, co-founded ZBA UK. ZBA UK has certified many ZBers and trained several ZB teachers. Alan has enjoyed teaching ZB in the US, UK & Japan. He further trained with Dr. Smith to teach Freely Moveable Joints, Alchemy of Touch & Geometry of Healing. Alan has taught ‘Within the Interface’ with Ida Smith in Jamaica and has developed approved workshops ‘The Roots of Zero Balancing in the Chinese Traditions’, ‘The Structure of Energy’ and ‘Elemental Zero Balancing’. Alan is author of the book ‘Structural Energetics in Zero Balancing’. He lives, and practices Traditional Acupuncture, in Dorset, England.

About Third Sundays:
ZBHA Faculty and Certified Mentors host an Open Forum each month to explore, discuss and answer questions about Zero Balancing. Each session will have a frame for the discussions. Participants are encouraged to bring their questions, share with other ZB practitioners, and lean into the ZB community.

In this hour-long gathering we will:
  • Start with a pyramid meditation
  • The presenter(s) will open the discussion and provide insight to the subject matter.
  • Have small group discussions in breakout rooms
  • Return to large group where the presenter will field questions and discussion that arise from break-out rooms
  • Have some time after for integration, feedback & sharing
  • Participate in a brief closing ritual
