COURSE DESCRIPTION: Exploring the Box
Join me for an exciting exploration of key ZB skills - understanding The Blue Line and the Box. In this class we will deepen our appreciation of the Blue Line and the Box, and explore the power and potential of landing fulcrums in different parts of the box, from light to hedonic. We will refresh our skills with the Half Moon Vector and the Dorsal Hinge to the SI joints evaluations and fulcrums. My hope is to get you more confident with the beginning of the Core Zero Balancing protocol.

In general,
Core ZB: Advancing Skills Day classes enhance the process of learning Zero Balancing, sharpen your skills, especially if you have not taken courses recently, and connect with other ZB practitioners. Student questions help shape the lessons, and the format may include presentations, demonstrations, touch feedback and session swaps. All of the students have taken at least Core ZB I

You will have the opportunity to explore:

  • Deeper embodiment of Zero Balancing principles
  • Refining your Zero Balancing touch skills of touching energy and structure at Interface
  • Practicing portions of the ZB protocol with greater awareness and understanding
  • Enhancing body mechanics and position for the half moon vector
  • Feeling the power of the pause
  • Fine-tuning ZB evaluations and fulcrums for the lower body
  • Giving and receiving work from the instructor and other students

What Participants say about ZB I with Amanda King:

“ZB is an immediate addition to my practice. I noticed on day 4 of ZB I that I had not used my yoga mat and realized how good my body was feeling in that moment. Help to myself and my practice has arrived.” Catherine Perman-Andrade, LMBT, CMLDT
*
"Thank you for four amazing days of learning—perhaps for the first time in my life—“the easy way.”...as unfolding awareness, discovery of subtle and meaningful truths that lay waiting to be known and engaged consciously." Christine G. LAc
*
“Zero Balancing I was enlightening. Having worked with soft tissue for 13 years, ZB offers a new perspective. Bone, which we regard as hard and unable to work with, but it’s so important…and plays such a vital role in the balance of the body. I look forward to many more courses in training.” Jean M., LMT
*
“I loved the benefit of the pause. Rest and non-action are often not viewed as treatment. This really highlighted the importance of a client’s processing and work that occurs during that time.” Kristin Keenan, PT
*
“Zero Balancing requires less energy to do. It’s exciting to watch my clients and see what’s unfolding for them.” Sarah-Elizabeth Anderson, LMT, CST

*
“Amanda was well organized and her presentation was clear and easy. The days flew by with ease! I would take more classes from Amanda in a heartbeat.” Della Ritland, LMT
