Zero Balancing is a hands on body-mind therapy The practitioner uses finger pressure and gentle traction on areas of tension in the bones, joints and soft tissue to create fulcrums, or points of balance, around which the body can relax and reorganize. By addressing the deepest and densest tissues of the body along with soft tissue and energy fields, Zero Balancing helps to clear chronic tension and blocks in the body’s energy flow. ZB has been shown to reduce stress, amplify vitality and promote better postural alignment.
A wide variety of health professionals offer Zero Balancing as an integral part of their practice. They include acupuncturists, chiropractors, craniosacral therapists, massage therapists, medical doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, osteopaths, physical therapists, psychiatrists, psychotherapists and others. Practitioners may be found in private practice, health and wellness centers, hospitals and spas. It can also be used to help family and friends achieve and easier more balanced experience of themselves, benefiting the mind and emotions as well. Certification as a Zero Balancing practitioner is available which begins with Zero Balancing 1 and includes 3 other classes and additional requirements.
