Journaling to Deepen Presence and Practice

Prerequisites: ZB I
Tuition: $50

Course Description

How many times have you given or received a Zero Balancing session where you learned surprising things about yourself, about life and healing, or about the power of touch? Do you remember the discoveries from those sessions? Or has the power and magic faded over time? Journaling for a few minutes on a regular basis is an excellent way to capture transformative insights and support your development and growth. This class is for you even if you don’t enjoy writing or have difficulty silencing your inner critic!

Zero Balancing, like many embodied practices, offers us lifelong learning and exploration into the mysteries of what it means to be human and in connection with others. Whether you offer one session a month or five per day, this class is about finding your own joyful way to connect to your inner wellspring of wisdom and guidance.

By writing or drawing in a journal, we can consciously identify and explore our edges, experiment with new approaches, and build confidence in ourselves and our work. The journaling process can help us to see our strengths, have more compassion for ourselves, better trust what we feel, and amplify presence, ease, and embodiment of Zero Balancing – which makes our work more rewarding for us and our clients.

In this 2-hour class, through a combination of discussions and embodied writing exercises, students will learn:
• The benefits of journaling for Zero Balancers
• Ways to connect to your inner wisdom
• Ideas to make journaling a joyful and sustainable practice
• Mining the wealth of insights found in your journal
• Resources and support to keep you writing and engaged
