A Note from Lisa and SatCharn
This is a fun and empowering class for those new to ZB and those wanting to sharpen their practice. In addition to learning new fulcrums, you will deepen your understanding of concepts, touch skills and professional practices. With two teachers, there will be a lot of support and hands-on learning.
If it’s been a while since you took a ZB class, consider this an excellent refresher. This class is also a personal retreat where your frames are empowered by the field of the class and the hands-on support.
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Zero Balancing II is the second half of the 50-hour Core Zero Balancing program and you'll learn the complete Zero Balancing Core protocol to offer clients a full ZB session. Review and refine your skills performing the evaluations and fulcrums from ZB I while learning new fulcrums for the ribs, pelvis, hips, feet, neck and more. You will expand your understanding of how and why Zero Balancing is so transformative and rewarding to give and receive. The small class size offers many opportunities for hands-on practice and working with the instructor. ZB II is the pre-requisite for advanced study in Zero Balancing - it opens the door to continuing your journey with Zero Balancing.
Note: ZB II is highly recommended for all ZB practitioners who have not taken a ZB course in a while as it includes the most up-to-date methods for performing Zero Balancing.
You will learn:
• A review of the basic ZB protocol with an emphasis on quality of touch, focus and positioning of the practitioner
• To deepen your understanding of ZB theory, principles and techniques
• Additional techniques and an expanded protocol to address more of the body
• New skills and coordination in handling energy and structure
• How to frame or set goals for a ZB session
• To advance your ability to work with expanded states of consciousness
• To give and receive kind and constructive peer feedback
• To acquire experience in preparation for advanced study

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Alchemy of Touch is an advanced class that expands on Core Zero Balancing principles and delves into working with amplified fields of vibration within the body. The course teaches you how to create fulcrums that work with these amplified fields. Alchemical principles, when used during a ZB session, can provide the client with a direct experience of the healing state. In addition to presenting new material, Alchemy of Touch enables you to deepen foundational Zero Balancing skills through refined practice of Core protocol fulcrums as well as ZB session exchanges.
You will learn:
- Alchemical principles and their applications during a Zero Balancing session
- The theory, purpose and therapeutic use of amplified fields of energy
- How to amplify vibration, both locally and throughout the entire the body
- How to contain and establish energetic boundaries
- In-depth exploration of framing a Zero Balancing session and how to work with a client's personal history
- How to monitor shifts of consciousness and expanded states
- How to recognize working signs of amplified fields in your clients
What Participants say about Alchemy of Touch:
“Alchemy of Touch introduced me to a level of refinement in ZB that has expanded my skills and efficacy enormously, particularly in working with the strong energies of the pelvic bowl and the dorsal hinge.” -Elizabeth Zenger
“I felt the information was relevant to both my ZB practice and my life in general—really helpful for working at deeper levels.” -Benjamin Fox
“I finally feel like I ‘get’ the idea of organizing my whole body behind my hands, which I know translates to a clearer, more profound experience for both me and the client.” -Tom Coen

Welcome from Deanna:
This is a new location for ZB classes in Northern Indiana. I am excited to collaborate with the Master's in Occupational Therapy Department through Indiana University South Bend (IUSB)- Elkhart Center. The OT department is hosting this Zero Balancing I class as a way to promote holistic training in Complementary Health Approaches and Integrative Health (CHAIH) for OTs and other health professionals interested in the emerging field of integrative health approaches to whole person health.
The ZB I & II classes are officially approved for Continuing Ed credits for OTs in Indiana, in addition to other professions already approved for this class that are listed on the ZBHA website.
The principles of Zero Balancing are the foundation of my holistic practice. One of the best ways to learn ZB is to encourage a friend to take the class with you, allowing you to swap regularly for skills progression and regular self-care. Consider this class a working retreat, where you learn through hands-on bodywork that is relaxing and beneficial to both your body and mind. Whether you are new to bodywork or adding new skills to your clinical toolbox, the guiding principles of ZB can be transformative for yourself and your clients. Don't hesitate to get in touch with me at ot4peace@gmail.com if you have any questions.
Zero Balancing I is the first half of the 50-hour Core Zero Balancing program and the first course of the Zero Balancing curriculum. ZB I introduces you to the technique, theory, touch skills and history of the art and science of Zero Balancing. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to perform a full-body Zero Balancing session and experience what it feels like to receive Zero Balancing fulcrums and sessions.
I will deliver clear presentations and demonstrations of Zero Balancing evaluations and techniques, along with a detailed study guide to inform your ongoing practice. You will be able to perform a basic Zero Balancing protocol at the completion of this class.
You will learn:
- The basic Zero Balancing protocol
- Theory and principles of Zero Balancing body/mind therapy
- To distinguish body energy and body structure through touch
- The skill of using energy as a working tool
- The structural and energetic anatomy of the skeleton
- The theory and application of Zero Balancing techniques called fulcrums
- How to give a 30-minute ZB session that addresses the whole body
